Custom home building takes teamwork

Custom home building takes teamwork
A few months ago we blogged about one of our newest clients & her family needing more room. The property is beautiful, relaxing & close to town. The entire property is a garden lover’s dream! Which explains why this family decided to stay put and just build a bigger home. The good news for them is that we are done with the build and ready to turn the home over. Thank you to the Carlson family and their kids for welcoming our entire team into your lives. It was an exciting journey to share along the way, thank you!

Custom home building takes teamwork to manage all the specifics from beginning to end. The features for this custom home will last a lifetime and the final reveal includes so many details. We would be happy to name a few; beautiful classic white quartz counters, white painted millwork, hardwood floors nearly in every room! The kitchen will be the hub for the Carlson’s family time. We hope you enjoy years of yummy meals since we know how important your kitchen is you to all! The final personal touches of the old world metal lighting fixtures really tied the entire home together. The goal was to create a bright, welcoming home with a French country feel…white cabinets, soft yellow walls and warm hardwoods did exactly that!

Belmark was so please to be the contractor for this lovely custom home. The team at Belmark has spent the last 6 months working hand in hand with the Carlson family, sharing the building excitement and facing any challenges together. There are times in life when we all realize why we have chosen the careers we did. For us at Belmark knowing we created the end product for our clients reminds us of how much we love what we all do. It takes several members to make up Team Belmark and we all have roles to play during a build.

From our construction manager, Mike, that does the heavy lifting in the beginning to work out all the construction details, contracts and works hard for our clients to receive the best pricing on their project from our suppliers. From our accounting support team, Elizabeth & Kathy, that works closely with the home owner’s bank to ensure all the draw/funding process has been handled properly during the entire process and overseeing the home budget.

From our site superintendent, Dana & his site team, Juan & Dave who create the day to day progress and are hands on with every top quality detail. From our marketing/builder representative, Michelle, who helps guides our clients thru the process, personalizing selections and is always there for the home buyers to ensure the entire 6 month experience is fun, stress free and memorable.

In the very end the final reveal by Belmark is presented by our customer service team, Dave (also known as our Handy Man Dave), he performs last with a detail home orientation. This ensures to our clients that they are receiving a quality finished home. We are a small team and we all get to wear several hats. Which is probably why we welcome any challenges along the way. We know we can count on our own close team to move quickly to create solutions that works for everyone.

And finally Belmark’s owner, Aaron Metcalf, for always encouraging the entire team to create a successful process that supports each home owner thru their journey. Custom home building clearly takes teamwork in order to for all the details transform in an amazing home at the end. Belmark enjoys it all and most importantly creating friendships.

Belmark is grateful to the relationship with Don Chase at Washington Federal bank and would like to thank them again for this amazing client referral to Belmark on this custom home. Keep them coming!
We’d like to give a quick thank you to all our vendors that helped on this project. Your understanding the importance of a quality built home is greatly appreciated!

We are excited to share this final reveal and release keys to the Carlson Family! The next step is for them to enjoy their new home and create memories…
Sincerely
Team Belmark
